Queen's School of English (QSoE) is an integral part of Queen's University, dedicated to providing high-quality English language programs to international students. For over 80 years, Queen’s School of English (QSoE) has provided outstanding student support, a well-researched curriculum, and exceptional instruction. Intercultural growth and experiential learning opportunities ensure that our students successfully improve their language skills and become an essential part of our learning community.
We are one of the oldest, if not the oldest, continuously operating language schools of our kind in Canada. We work with many international universities that send groups of students to our regular programs and use our non-credit English language courses to count either as credit and/or fulfill a study abroad component towards their home university degree programs. Our small class sizes ensure that students get the attention they need to develop all their English language skills. Our knowledge-based, accredited curriculum is delivered by experienced, qualified instructors who care deeply about student success. Students will actively participate in lessons their instructors have designed to meet their specific learning needs at their English level.
