This 4 week English immersion program is ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in Canadian culture while learning English. It is offered twice each year in winter and summer.
Classes
There are 21 in-class hours per week*. The classes focus on Canadian cultural, Sustainable Development Goals and practical application of the four language skills:
- Listening
- Reading
- Speaking
- Writing
Queen's University and the City of Kingston is an ideal English-immersion environment.
Student Life
Program fees include
- 3–4 excursions to local Kingston attractions
- 2–3 weekend trips to popular cities and attractions
- afternoon and weekend activities, such as films, sports, baking, games, shopping, festivals, and visits to Kingston's many cultural and historic sites
Admissions Requirements
Students entering this program should have a minimum of intermediate-level English fluency.
