Offering QBA Hybrid!

Are you worried about arriving on time for class?

I want to assure you that we have planned for cases where visas are delayed. You must arrive as early as possible for your success in this program.

However, if an unforeseen delay occurs with your visa, we are providing a hybrid class option. This means that you would start your classes online, but once you can join us and come to Canada, you can attend your classes in person. This will mean you shouldn’t miss too much while waiting for your documentation.

We are here to support you

Queen’s School of English has extensive experience in online and in-person education, and we know that in-person classes give students the greatest chance of success in this intensive English program.

Therefore, we are only offering online classes in emergency cases, and only for a limited time at the beginning of the program to allow for short visa delays.

You must come to Canada as soon as you have your visa.

What happens once I receive my visa?
As soon as you receive your study visa, please let us know, so we can prepare for your arrival in Kingston to attend in-person classes.

Do I need to submit a separate application from my undergraduate application?

No, there's no need for a separate application. We will receive the list directly from the admissions office for all eligible students who have accepted their conditional offers.

When can I expect to receive my invoice?

Invoices will be sent once we have finalized the attendee lists. It's important to note that you don't need an invoice to make your tuition payment. The tuition amounts are provided below and should be paid through your SOLUS account before your program start date.

Housing in Kingston

I hope you're doing well and getting excited for your upcoming studies at Queen's School of English. As you prepare for your journey to Kingston, I wanted to provide you with some helpful information about your housing and accommodation options.

At Queen's, we understand that finding the right place to stay is important to making your time here enjoyable and successful. That's why we offer a variety of housing options both on and off-campus to suit your needs and preferences.

Homestay

One option we highly recommend is our Homestay Program, which connects students with Canadian families. It's a great way to get an introduction to Canadian culture and to practice your English language skills. You can learn more about this program on our website at http://queensu.ca/qsoe/homestay.
